Johnathan  A. Elliott - Manager / Lead Vocalist

Born in Fort Wayne Indiana and raised in New Jersey, Johnathan’s musical inclinations were inspired by his mother, an operatic gospel singer.  Johnathan first exercised his talents as a lead vocalist in his local church and also performed with the gospel group, The Holy Echoes.

After relocating to the Fort Myers area, Johnathan continued his musical pursuits and was recognized as one of the most versatile karaoke performers in the Southwest Florida area.  It was not until the summer of 1994, that Johnathan’s musical ambitions came into fruition and he founded “The Perfect Gentlemen Band“.  In its infancy, The Perfect Gentlemen Band consisted of 3-4 part-time musicians in which Johnathan was the only vocalist.   Band rehearsals were typically held after hours in a friend’s garage and musical venues included local weddings, private parties, fund raiser & charity events, conferences and restaurant/lounge entertainment.

Since its conception, The Perfect Gentlemen Band has blossomed with exposure of additional venue sites to include international performances in Germany, Brazil & Canada.  The Perfect Gentlemen Band has increased its membership to range from a 1 piece vocalist up to a 9 piece instrumental configuration to include both male & female lead & back up vocalists.  The Perfect Gentlemen Band’s musical repertoire has developed into an eclectic variance of musical styles spanning over the eras of great performers such as, Louis Armstrong, Etta James, Ray Charles, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, Luther Vandros & Michael Buble to name just a few.

When not playing with The Perfect Gentlemen Band, Johnathan pursues his solo musical career as JAE and recorded the CDs “Your Love” which contains JAE’s original musical compositions and a tribute to Luther Vandros and “JAE’s Way” which contains some of Johnathan’s favorite songs and most popular requests.
